• Cannot lock door, key will not fully turn
You must ensure the handle is pushed fully in the up position whilst turning the key. If this does not resolve the problem it will be necessary to adjust your keep plate. Instructions on how to do this are included within the french door lock kit.

• Sash opening frame mechanism catches on the keeps
Adjust friction hinges by removal of the centre fixed screw, slacken the other two screw a turn, move the hinge up within its adjustable slot, retighten screws. It will then be necessary to re-position hole for the centre screw to its new position.

If water builds up in the bottom profile of your door frame
It is probably due to the drainage slots being blocked with build debris which have accumulated as the DIY conservatory installation was taking place. Take time to clean out the slots in the top of the profile.

If damp patches appear at the host wall
Check the seals that should have been applied as per the instructions i.e. flashing to the roof and silicone seal to wall mullion may have been breached. Repair the seals as necessary.

If a leak appears at the centre spider on the Victorian or Edwardian conservatory buildings, you must remove the cover and reseal as shown in the instructions.

If you have difficulty in snapping on the external corner claddings, start at the top and ensure each side is tapped onto the pegs separately and square; once both cladding sides are started, tap each side alternately down the full length until fully secure.

If you have condensation inside your conservatory
This is normal for the first few weeks, as the base works will take time to dry out; the drying duration varies from 2 weeks to 12 weeks dependant upon weather and the position of the building. We recommend you leave the conservatory's windows open as often as possible for the first 2 weeks.

If you have condensation within the top and bottom surface of the Polycarbonate roof
First ensure that during installation, you did place the sheet the right way up as detailed in the instructions.
To drain the water: This procedure must be done in fair weather conditions. First, remove the end closure, which is visible above the guttering, then remove the tape which seals the end of the sheet. Allow the sheet to dry out then reseal the end and replace the end closure.
